Following guidelines will help google to find, index and rank your site
These guidelines mainly consists of three parts

1. Design Guidelines
2. Technical Guidelines
3. Quality Guidelines

Make sure that you follow these guidelines carefully....

• When your site is ready , submit it to the Google add url http://www.google.com/addurl.html.
• Register yourself to Webmaster tools
• They'll give you a meta tag , which you have to place it above the body.
• Then add a sitemap
• The google learns about the internal structure of your blog and it will try to index your pages.
• Send your blog address to your friends and post it in forums....

Design Guidelines

1. First plan your site properly.It should contain a good layout with text links in hierarchichal fashion.All the Pages should have atleast two external links ie., it should be accessible from more than one link
2. Create an information rich site with all the pages clearly describing the content
3. Think as a user and try to put all the keywords in your site that the user might type to find your pages
4. Avoid images to display important name because the googlebot will not recognize the text contained in the images
5. Check for the web crawl errors and HTML errors present in the site using webmaster tools

Technical Guidelines

1. Use a text browser such as Lynx to examine your site
2. Allow the search bots to crawl through different pages of your site
3. Use webmaster tools like robotics etc .. to improve your site

Quality Guidelines

1. Make pages for users and not for the search engine.
2. Avoid hidden text or hidden links
3. Dont load your pages with irrelavant keywords
4. Avoid redirects
5. Dont create pages with malicious behaviour

Changing the template

1. Go to http://www.pyzam.com/ and choose the template
2. Copy the code given there
3. Now go to Layout tab > Edit Html
4. Now delete the previous content
5. Now paste the code
